Vacation!

That is what I did ALL day long. Read a book on the beach. Now mind you this was the beach of a lake but there was sand and water so it counts. Right?! It definitely wasn't the sandy beaches of Hawaii but I got a tan sunburn.

Yes, I'm making a post while on my mini vacation. But I just had to share my excitement that I laid on the beach all day! No work, no worry, no plans, just whatever and chilling out. Then I didn't follow my diet and get to do the same thing most the day tomorrow. Let me tell you....I hit a little bit of heaven. Well, minus the sunburn. (But it does turn into a nice tan) 

And time just flys by!

I have been bad about posting recently. Oops! I was getting ready for a vacation and then went on vacation. I met up with all my family in Texas. None of us are from there but we have a family friend there. It was a good week overall. I went SHOPPING!!! I got new perfume, two new purses, some clothes, and a new winter coat. They were all amazing deals!! Here is a picture I took at a western shop there. I did not bring home a cowboy hat. Maybe next time!

It was so nice to be in nice warm weather and it's a little depressing that it's still so chilly here at home. Sigh...come on Michigan, where is our spring? Now that I'm back I really want to get into redecorating my room. I have some ideas and I need to just decide what direction I want to go. I just like it all! Somebody help!!!

Summer Time

So...I haven't been very good at keeping up with posts on here. It has been a very busy few weeks. Sometimes I just wish for the days where I actually had a summer with days to relax and all the fun stuff. Since the last time I posted I have gotten a few days off. The most recent ended just yesterday. One of my best friends from college got to come up and visit me for a quick 3 day visit. It was fast but oh so much fun!! We shopped and ate fabulous food, got lost, found antique earrings, had great talks, and relaxed! It was a wonderful vacation. And the next step is to get everyone else I know to come visit me!!! Michigan isn't that bad people! I live here!!!! So...there's the hint get planning!!!
